Patient Care Coordinator

PSR Phone Operator – WellMed
Location: WellMed / UHG Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM Interview: In Person
We are seeking a PSR Phone Operator to join the WellMed/UHG team! This is a great opportunity for a healthcare professional who enjoys helping patients and keeping clinic operations running smoothly.
As a PSR Phone Operator, you'll be an important first point of contact for patients, providing friendly and professional support while ensuring calls are handled efficiently.
What You'll Do
- Answer and assist with incoming patient calls
- Schedule appointments and provide basic assistance with patient questions
- Take and accurately relay messages to providers and clinic staff
- Direct calls to the appropriate department or team member
- Help maintain efficient call flow and a positive patient experience
What We're Looking For
- 2+ years of healthcare experience
- Familiarity with medical terminology
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Professional, patient-focused approach
- Ability to manage multiple calls and priorities in a fast-paced environment
Dress Code: Khaki, blue, or black slacks with blue, gray, or black tops/scrubs
No license or certification required.
