We are seeking a Compliance Engineer with experience in product approvals, regulatory compliance, certification, and product testing . The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of safety and performance standards, with experience supporting products used in hazardous locations .

Key Responsibilities

• Lead product approval testing, agency submissions, certifications, and compliance activities .

• Interpret applicable safety and performance standards and apply requirements to product designs.

• Develop certification strategies for new product development and sustaining engineering projects.

• Partner with Product Development and Engineering teams to ensure compliance requirements are incorporated into product designs.

• Develop test plans and protocols, oversee testing, interpret results, and prepare detailed test reports.

• Prepare technical documentation and evidence demonstrating product compliance.

• Support product verification and validation (V&V) activities and certification testing.

• Maintain existing product certifications and support regulatory and agency audits.

• Ensure products comply with applicable company, industry, and global regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor s degree in Engineering ; Electrical Engineering preferred.

• 5+ years of industry experience in approvals, compliance, certification, or regulatory engineering.

• Experience with product approvals, agency testing, submissions, and certifications .

• Experience with hazardous-location products and standards such as CSA, ATEX, and IECEx preferred.

• Knowledge of product development, sustaining engineering, and verification/validation testing.

• Strong ability to interpret technical standards and translate requirements into product and test specifications.

• Strong technical documentation, testing, and problem-solving skills.
