Grants Administrator

Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for a Grants Administrator at The University of Texas Medical Branch, located in Houston, TX. The Grants Administrator will oversee and manage all aspects of grants administration. Responsibilities include ensuring compliance with funding regulations, collaborating with research teams, maintaining accurate records, managing research budgets, and providing expert guidance to faculty and staff throughout the grant lifecycle. Qualifications Proficiency in Grant Administration and Research Administration, with experience in managing grant applications and maintaining compliance with funding requirements. Strong Analytical Skills, with the ability to review financial reports and manage data effectively. Excellent Communication skills, including written and verbal communication for collaboration with stakeholders and funding agencies. Proficiency in Budgeting, including the ability to create and oversee detailed grant and research budgets. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are essential. Experience in university or academic healthcare settings is a plus. Bachelor’s degree in a related field is required; advanced degrees or certifications in administration or grants management are advantageous. Full lifecycle grants management (pre-award and post-award) Time and effort reporting and compliance Management of complex/high-dollar grant portfolios Direct support and advising of Principal Investigators (PIs) Strong familiarity with sponsored programs and regulatory requirements #J-18808-Ljbffr
