Maintenance Manager

A well-established, growth-oriented food manufacturing company is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Manager to take ownership of plant reliability and lead a team through its next phase of operational improvement. This is a high-impact leadership role with strong visibility, stepping into a site that is ready for structure, accountability, and performance-driven maintenance practices. The Opportunity You’ll inherit a team and operation that needs a strong leader to bring consistency, elevate standards, and drive uptime . This is not a “keep the lights on” role — it’s a build, stabilize, and optimize environment. What You’ll Be Responsible For Lead and develop a maintenance team including a Maintenance Supervisor and MRO/Parts function Drive improvements in equipment reliability, uptime, and overall plant performance Establish and enforce preventive & predictive maintenance programs Own CMMS utilization, maintenance metrics, and KPI tracking Lead root cause analysis and implement long-term corrective actions Partner cross-functionally with operations to support production goals Create structure around inventory, spare parts, and planning processes Be a visible, hands-on leader on the plant floor What We’re Looking For Proven leadership experience in food or beverage manufacturing maintenance (dairy highly preferred) Strong track record of turning around or improving maintenance operations Deep technical knowledge across mechanical, electrical, and automation systems Experience with high-speed production and packaging equipment Background in building or optimizing PM/PdM programs Experience with CMMS systems and data-driven maintenance environments A leader who can coach, develop, and hold teams accountable Someone who is comfortable challenging the status quo and raising the bar What Success Looks Like Rapid assessment of current gaps and execution of a clear improvement plan Measurable gains in uptime, reliability, and efficiency Strong discipline around preventive maintenance and inventory control A more capable, accountable, and engaged maintenance team #J-18808-Ljbffr
