Jiading District, Shanghai, China | Start Date: August 24, 2026 Position Overview We are seeking a passionate and experienced **PYP Kindergarten Homeroom Teacher** to join an international school in Shanghai Jiading. The successful candidate will create a nurturing, inquiry-based learning environment and support young learners’ academic, social, and emotional development. Key Responsibilities * Serve as a **Kindergarten Homeroom Teacher** within the IB Primary Years Programme (PYP) framework
* Plan and deliver engaging, play-based and inquiry-based lessons
* Create a safe, supportive, and stimulating classroom environment
* Support children’s language, social, emotional, and cognitive development
* Collaborate with co-teachers and communicate effectively with parents
* Participate in school events, team meetings, and professional development activities Requirements * Native English speaker preferred
* Bachelor’s degree or above in Early Childhood Education, Education, or related field
* Experience teaching **IB PYP / Kindergarten curriculum** preferred
* Teaching qualification (PGCE / QTS / equivalent) preferred
* Strong classroom management and communication skills
