Responsibilities
- Scrub and assist in cardiovascular OR cases, including general and sports medicine procedures; maintain sterile technique and instrument counts
- Prepare surgical sets, equipment, and implants; ensure proper setup and function of CVOR instrumentation
- Maintain the sterile field, anticipate instrument and supply needs, and support the circulating team during procedures
- Aid with patient positioning, draping, suction/irrigation, and monitoring equipment as needed; assist with specimen labeling and documentation
- Collaborate with surgeons and circulating staff; adhere to NBSTSA standards and BLS guidelines; participate in Level 1 trauma workflows when required
- Assist with IV placement and line management as appropriate; ensure patient safety and comfort throughout cases

Requirements
- Active NBSTSA certification/verification and AHA BLS certification; CNOR preferred
- License on file at time of submission
- Minimum 2 years OR experience
- Recent large trauma Level 1 experience within the last year; Level 1 trauma exposure preferred
- Travel experience required; ability to manage a flexible schedule and weekend duties
- Must be available to start within one week of offer; location specificity: Burlington, VT
