Business Analyst Intern (Fall 2026)

Internship Opportunity With Nashville SC

Nashville SC is looking for highly motivated college students interested in being a part of the Major League Soccer team in Nashville. The ideal candidates will demonstrate initiative, the ability to multi-task, a willingness to learn, and a positive attitude. Please note: This is an unpaid internship for college credit only. To be eligible, candidates must be enrolled at an accredited academic institution and receiving college credit for their participation in the internship. This role requires regular onsite attendance at our Nashville, TN location.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Assist in the development of strategic, well-educated ideations and conceptual plans to produce business solutions, including key performance indicators and measurement strategies
• Develop key reports, dashboards, and analyses to be utilized in the daily management of the business
• Work with our Data Engineer to learn new data retrieval techniques and maintain current processes
• Assist in Salesforce maintenance, including contact and account creation and removing duplicate records
• Assist in daily data hygiene maintenance to ensure good data integrity throughout numerous data sources
• Complete ad-hoc projects and reports to address specific business questions and produce action-based insights
• Research industry-leading practices to provide analyses, insights, and innovation

Requirements

• Strong communication skills and willingness to learn
• Energetic and passionate when it comes to using data to solve real business problems
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Computer proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Experience with a programming language (Python, R, SQL, etc.)
• Visualization skillsets preferred (Tableau, PowerBI, etc.)
