Laborer - Metal Building Erection (Traveling)

Youngblood Excavating & Contracting is looking to hire experienced builders. We are looking for hardworking, reliable individuals to build steel buildings. This is a full time position that offers competitive wages and the option for full benefits after 60 days of employment. Travel is required with postion

Responsibilities:

• Working at height to erect and connecting steel components
• Experience with blueprint reading
• Rig and run tag lines
• Abide to all safety protocols
• Must be able to install sheet metal, wall panels, standing seam roofing, trim, gutter systems and insulation.
• Experience with necessary equipment: lull, man lift, scissor lift, etc.
• Operate heavy equipment
• Work outdoors in all weather conditions & extreme temperatures

Requirements:

• Ability to read a tape measure
• Out of town travel, one week at a time
• Not afraid of heights
• Good coordination skills Basic Metal Assembly
• Basic knowledge of Lifts and Telebooms
• Ability to work well in a team and demonstrate a positive attitude
• Can stay calm under pressure and still make good decisions
• Ability to work long hours determined by the scope of work
• Ability to read plans would be a bonus

Experience:

• Rigging & boom lift operation: 2 years (Preferred)
• Construction: 2 years (Preferred)
