Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of client needs and backgrounds, gathering relevant information to inform tailored intervention strategies.
• Engage with clients through various platforms, including telephone and video calls, to provide crisis intervention and ongoing support.
• Facilitate referrals to community resources and services that can further assist clients in addressing their social and mental health challenges.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of client interactions, treatment plans, and progress reports to ensure continuity of care and compliance with regulatory standards.
• Participate actively in supervision and training sessions to enhance clinical skills and stay updated on best practices in social work.
• Serve as an advocate for clients by liaising with other healthcare professionals and community agencies.
• Monitor and identify signs of child abuse or neglect, making appropriate reports and referrals based on established protocols.
• Create and implement individualized treatment plans that align with clients’ unique situations and goals.

Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) or a closely related field from an accredited institution.
• State licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) is required for practice.
• Current knowledge and understanding of crisis intervention techniques and social service delivery systems.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to actively listen and engage with clients empathetically.
• Proficient in the use of electronic health record (EHR) systems and Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
• Valid driver’s license, as occasional travel for client or community engagements may be required.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working with clients who face issues related to mental health, trauma, and domestic challenges is highly preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to develop effective treatment plans based on client needs and situational factors.
• Experience in a remote work environment and familiarity with teletherapy methodologies.
