Recruiter - Tax Associates

Contract to Hire (6 months)

Hybrid or Remote (CST or EST time zones required)

Pay Rate | $42-50/hour

We are seeking an experienced Recruiter to support high-volume hiring of Tax professionals for a Contract to Hire opportunity for our client in Chicago.

Note about location - please read!

• Candidates local to Chicago, IL must work onsite 2 days/week
• Candidates outside of Chicago area can work remotely, however must reside in CST or EST time zones
• If successfully hired permanent, remote candidates must be able to travel to Chicago corporate office 2x/year

Responsibilities

• Manage full-cycle proactive sourcing/recruiting for tax professionals (tax accountants, tax preparers, tax specialists/associates and tax auditors, etc.)

• Partner closely with hiring managers to understand role requirements, timelines, and priorities

• Source, screen, and interview candidates using job boards, LinkedIn, referrals, and internal databases

• Coordinate interviews, gather feedback, and guide candidates through the hiring process

• Maintain accurate documentation and activity within the applicant tracking system

• Provide a high-touch, professional candidate experience from first contact through offer

Required skills and experience

• 5+ years of stable work experience in recruitment/sourcing/talent acquisition

• Prior experience recruiting/sourcing for Tax professionals

• Prior experience in Greenhouse ATS system

• Experience recruiting for CPA firms, strongly preferred

• Must be able to work hybrid schedule (if local to Chicago) or visit Chicago headquarters 2x/year (if located out of state)
