Description

Responsibilities:

• Develops, maintains a service culture that ensures the delivery of superior internal/external guest service by all team members
• Ensures department adheres to all regulatory, departmental and company policies and procedures
• Knowledge of all promotions and events
• Men's & women's restrooms cleaned and maintained
• Empty all trash in restrooms as well as on the casino floor, front lobby areas, and back of the house
• Associate Dinning Room maintained
• Faces, sides, tops and bases of machines wiped clean
• Floor clean of clutter
• Vacuum where designated
• Supervise staff members on your shift
• Ensure all duties and responsibilities are performed to the best of each staff member’s ability
• Work "hands on" with staff to ensure all cleaning duties and procedures, company policies, rules and regulations, and Jumer's standards of cleanliness are enforced
• Help handle any problem situations with both employees and guests
• Answer radio calls and communicate professionally
• All other duties as assigned
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Union Representation : This position is represented by IUOE and is subject to the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
• Must be available to work weekends, holidays, and nights as scheduled
• Frequently required to stand, walk, and sit for prolonged periods of timeOccasionally required to work at heights above 10 feet high
• Frequently required to lift items up to 30 pounds
• Occasionally required to push or move items up to 100 lbs
• Frequently required to reach overhead

Education

Required

High School or better.

Experience

Required

Union Representation: Employment in this position is subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable collective bargaining agreement with IUOE, including union membership requirements where applicable.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

High school graduate or equivalent

Ability to work well with team members and supervisory staff

Previous janitorial/housekeeping experience preferred

Previous supervisory training or experience is desired

Must be able to lead, direct and organize other people
