Have a strong knowledge of wine list and be able to relay the information to the guests. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Include the following non-inclusive list. Other duties may be assigned. Understand completely all policies, procedures, standards, specifications, guidelines, and training programs. Ensure that all guests feel welcome and are given responsive, friendly, and courteous service at all times by providing excellent guest service. Be knowledgeable of A.B.C. laws and guest compliance. Setting up and taking down of bar. Assists guests and staff with case carry outs. Completes stocking of products ensuring the display is easily accessible and visible. Assist servers and cashiers with any needs specific to bar or guest needs. Build rapport with guests to ensure guest retention. Selling of wine club memberships, wine products, featured wines, and merchandise. QUALIFICATIONS: Be at least 21 years of age. Be able to lift 50 pounds. Possess excellent basic math skills and can operate a cash register or POS system. Must have excellent guest service skills with professional appearance and outstanding communication skills. High School Diploma or equivalent. Must obtain a Riverside County Food Handler’s Card within seven (7) days of hire. Must obtain a RBS Certificate within thirty (30) days of hire.
