Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Active New Jersey SLP licensure required
• Previous school-based experience preferred
• Ability to effectively collaborate with educators, administrators, and families
• Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
• Familiarity with a range of speech and language disorders and intervention strategies
• Capacity to manage caseloads across diverse grade levels

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct speech and language therapy services to students from elementary through high school
• Conduct comprehensive evaluations and re-evaluations, documenting findings and recommendations
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student’s unique needs
• Consult with classroom teachers and other professionals to integrate supportive strategies into daily instruction
• Maintain accurate and timely records in accordance with state and district policies
• Engage in progress monitoring and ongoing assessment to adapt and refine therapy approaches
• Communicate effectively with families regarding student goals, progress, and strategies for continued success
