At CHS, we are creating connections to empower agriculture. Summary CHS Sun Basin in Moses Lake, WA is looking for a Hazmat Truck Driver to join our team. This individual is responsible for hauling petroleum products (diesel and gas) to our customers in a timely manner. This is a M-F home daily position with weekends as needed based on business needs. The ideal candidate would possess a Class A CDL with hazmat and doubles/triples endorsements (or ability to obtain) and have some local driving experience.

Join our team today! Responsibilities * Safely transport and deliver hazardous materials to customer locations using a semi-tractor and trailer and or bobtail truck in a safe, compliant manner, and timely manner

* Load and unload products by connecting/disconnecting loading arms and hoses; follow all hazardous material handling and transfer safety procedures

* Deliver professional, customer-focused service during pickups and deliveries, and coordinate with internal teams as needed

* Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections; report equipment issues, maintenance needs, incidents, or near misses promptly. Perform interior maintenance and upkeep as needed

* Prepare delivery documentation and daily load/unload reports; record accurate electronic logs

* Comply with DOT regulations and company policies for safe driving, including route and hazard awareness. Immediately notify leadership of incidents, near misses, spills/releases, or safety concerns

* Perform additioanl duties as assigned Minimum Qualifications (required) * Valid Class A or Class B CDL (as required for the equipment/route)

* Valid Hazmat and Tanker endorsements required

* 2+ years of verifiable CDL driving experience

* Must meet age requirement

* Ability to read, write, and communicate in English

* Demonstrate a strong commitment to safety and compliance, and complete required documentation accurately. Additional Qualifications * Demonstrated experience hauling hazardous materials

* Demonstrated safety performance and consistent adherence to procedures in hazardous materials operations.

* Demonstrated customer service and communication skills; interact professionally with internal teams and customers.

* Demonstrated experience completing tanker product transfers (loading/unloading) and related documentation in a regulated environment.

Physical Requirements * Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds

* Ability to safely climb in and out of truck cabs and to the top of a tanker trailer

* Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions; travel and time away from home as required by the schedule

* Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions and in environments with regular exposure to hazardous materials. CHS offers a competitive total rewards package.
