Systems AdministratorRequired skills:Expert in VMware ESXi and VDI virtualization and troubleshootingExpert in Routing and switching experience alongside Network firewallsExpert in Windows Server AdministrationServer virtualizationPowerShell scripting / Windows batch scripting / Windows scheduled task managementExpert in QoS guidelines and implementationExpert in Windows automation/ScriptingVoIP / McAfee / O365 AdministrationSecure implementation conceptsTroubleshooting complex technical issues between various disciplines including, but not limited to:Routers & SwitchesFirewallsVMwareWindows Server OS optimization and upgradesSCCM and SCOMActive Directory & SSO conceptsIIS / WebsphereSIEM Event Collectors & Vulnerability Management platformsDNS / DHCP / Active Directory and Network communication basicsDatabase drivers & connectivityCertificate servicesFirewall Administration and troubleshootingF5 Load balancersMobile Device Management (Airwatch/Apple DEP)The responsibilities of this job will include, but are not limited to:Manage and Monitor all Commerce (and DSA) ServersMonitor Servers system resource utilization, trending, and capacity planningManage and Monitoring Application issues on ServersSQL Server Management and MonitoringWeb Server and SSL Certs Renewals and working issuesWindows update ManagementProvide L1/L2 support in multiple Desktop/Network issue scenariosWork with OIT Teams on Exchange/McAfee/Networking/FIM/RDirectory/VoIP issuesActive Directory/Group Policy/DNS and DHCP ManagementMcAfee new products testing and Working with OIT on finding resolutionWork with Application Team on resolving Server/Networking issuesWork with Commerce/DSA staff on improving Networking/Security/QOS standards for Switches/Routers throughout agency(ies)SCCM related Fixes and updates and finding ways to create new reportingCreate/Manage scripts on Inventory/Management of Enterprise hardwareDeploy and Manage Mobile Devices Enterprise wide and also learn AirWatch deployment for Future deployment in the Agency(ies)Manage Production/Guest Wireless alongside web filters and Wireless ControllerWork with OIT Teams on Networking hardware related incidents to minimize outage in times of Hardware faultsWork with OIT Engineers on designing Backups specific to Agency(ies)Manage and Monitor Web, Email and Virus protectionParticipate in improving IT procedures to comply with IT security standardsWork with OIT teams on new software/hardware implementations like SolidCore/ISILON/TDP-SQL and new once yet to be implemented.Provide 24/7 support to Enterprise servers/Networking/Security in case of P1 and P2 incidentsThe ideal candidate will be a part of a team of network engineers ranging from 2 – 4 network and security engineers who partner with and collaborate with other state agencies' IT teams to solve problems and create technical solutions for the state of Ohio.Additional InformationAll your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines. vTech Solution
