Director of Media Distribution, Sales & Commercial Partnerships 7+ Years Chicago preferred, with travel to New York, Miami, LA and DC as needed. All Access Media is seeking a Director of Media Distribution, Sales & Commercial Partnerships to lead the expansion and monetization of content across our growing portfolio of clients and original programming. This is a highly strategic and entrepreneurial role at the intersection of media, content, distribution, partnerships, and revenue. The Director will identify and execute opportunities to extend clients’ content beyond owned platforms, build relationships with third-party distribution partners, develop brand activations and sponsorship opportunities, and create new commercial revenue streams. Role Description Distribution & Strategic Partnerships: Develop and execute distribution strategies for All Access Media clients and original programming across third-party platforms. Build relationships with streaming platforms, FAST channels, digital publishers, financial media platforms, broadcasters, and social/video platforms. Identify syndication, licensing, content-sharing, and co-production opportunities while negotiating partnership agreements. Commercial & Revenue Growth: Build and manage a pipeline of commercial opportunities across the portfolio. Identify new revenue streams tied to content, distribution, sponsorship, and licensing. Develop commercial packages combining media, content, talent, and brand integration. Own deals from pitch to close and set revenue targets and KPIs. Brand Partnerships & Activations: Build relationships with brands, agencies, and Fortune 500 companies. Create and sell integrated brand activations around live programming, events, podcasts, digital video, and social platforms. Collaborate with creative teams to turn concepts into high-quality executions during major cultural, financial, sports, and entertainment moments. Client Growth: Serve as a strategic commercial partner to clients, bringing proactive ideas that increase audience reach, brand visibility, and monetization beyond existing platforms. Qualifications 7+ years of experience in media distribution, partnerships, business development, advertising sales, sponsorships, or branded content. Strong existing network across media, brands, agencies, streaming, digital platforms, and content distribution. Proven track record of originating, negotiating, and closing high-value commercial partnerships. Deep understanding of the modern media landscape including FAST, YouTube, social video, podcasts, and emerging distribution channels. Demonstrated ability to package content and IP into compelling sponsorship and brand activation opportunities. Exceptional negotiation, presentation, and executive-level relationship management skills. Entrepreneurial mindset with a track record of building revenue streams from scratch in fast-paced environments.
