Salary: $75,000 - $80,000 per year A bit about us: We are seeking a Manufacturing Estimator to join a growing team in the Kent, Ohio area. This role is responsible for analyzing customer drawings and specifications to develop accurate cost estimates for fabrication and production. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of manufacturing processes, cost drivers, and quoting methodologies. Why join us? Stable, well-established manufacturing company with strong reputation in the industry Competitive salary with clear growth potential Collaborative team environment with leadership support Full benefits package including health, retirement, and PTO Job Details Key Responsibilities Review customer prints, CAD files, and specifications to prepare detailed cost estimates Analyze material, labor, machining, fabrication, and overhead costs Work closely with engineering, production, and sales teams to ensure accurate quoting Identify cost-saving opportunities and process improvements Maintain and update pricing databases and estimating tools Support continuous improvement initiatives related to quoting accuracy and turnaround time Qualifications 3+ years of estimating experience in a manufacturing environment Strong understanding of fabrication, machining, or metal manufacturing processes Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings Experience with ERP systems and estimating software Strong attention to detail and analytical mindset Excellent communication and collaboration skills Preferred Experience Background in sheet metal, machining, or custom fabrication Familiarity with quoting high-mix, low-volume production work Exposure to lean manufacturing principles Interested in hearing more?
