• Shift: Combination of 8 and 24-hour shifts on a 7-week rotating schedule
• Hours/week: Approximately 170 hours/month
• Employment Type: Full-time
• License/Certs: Board Certified/Eligible in Neonatology or Pediatrics (preferred for new Fellows)
• Experience: Prior Neonatology experience preferred; recent graduates considered

What You'll Do:

• Provide direct patient care in a busy Level-III NICU caring for approximately 1,000 admissions annually
• Collaborate with a team of physicians, residents, and nurse practitioners to deliver exceptional neonatal care
• Participate in quality improvement and research initiatives in partnership with KU School of Medicine Wichita
• Manage a diverse caseload, including vascular, cysto, urology, GI cases, with some trauma
• Cover in-house shifts and provide backup call from home
• Contribute to a team-based, evolving management environment focused on high standards and patient outcomes

What You Need:

• Board Certified or Eligible in Neonatology or Pediatrics (new Fellow candidates considered if BC in Pediatrics)
• State medical license (or eligible for licensing in Kansas)
• Key skills: excellent communication, teamwork, adaptability, dedication to quality care
• Preferred: Experience in Level-III NICU settings
