Manufacturing Production Scheduler | Lockheed MartinAs a Manufacturing Production Scheduler Sr within IGNITE, you will work in the Severn Operations Manufacturing Team and will be responsible for creating, maintaining, and optimizing production schedules in partnership with Manufacturing Project Managers. This role ensures that project timelines are realistic, resources are allocated efficiently, and all stakeholders have up to date visibility into schedule status. The Scheduler will evaluate schedule performance, identify risks, and recommend corrective actions to keep projects on track. As a Lockheed Martin employee, you'll have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact while working in an environment that values integrity and excellence.Key Responsibilities:Build detailed master production schedules (MPS) based on project scope, capacity, and material availability.Continuously update schedules to reflect changes in demand, resource constraints, or engineering revisions.Align project schedules with supply chain, tooling, and workforce plans.Work closely with Manufacturing Project Managers to gather status updates, milestone completions, and change requests.Facilitate regular schedule review meetings (e.g., weekly "schedule syncs") with cross functional teams.Provide clear, concise schedule reports and dashboards to senior leadership and stakeholders.Identify opportunities to streamline scheduling processes, tools, and data flows.Desired skills:5+ years of scheduling or production planning experience in an electronics manufacturing environment (aerospace, defense, automotive, or similar)Bachelor's degree in Operations Management, Business Administration, or related fieldExperience with SAPExperience with resource planning and leveling of overallocated resourcesExperience tracking metrics for adherence to scheduleActive Secret security clearanceLockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $69,900 - $123,280. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
