Mechanic SupervisorLocation: Temple, TX Pay: $33.00 - $39.00 per hour Job Type: Full-Time Employment Type: Temp-to-Hire or Direct Hire (based on client needs)Express Employment Professionals is hiring on behalf of a manufacturing company in Temple, TX seeking an experienced Mechanic Supervisor to join their maintenance team. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on maintenance leader looking for long-term stability, competitive pay, bonus opportunities, and a strong benefits package.Key ResponsibilitiesSupervise and support up to two Maintenance MechanicsOversee installation, repair, and maintenance of up to 480V three-phase electrical systemsPerform preventive, predictive, and reactive maintenanceTroubleshoot and repair hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, and electrical systemsCreate work orders and manage spare parts inventoryRepair and maintain lift trucks (LPG and diesel)Maintain PLC systems, motors, control circuits, and production equipmentEnsure equipment reliability, workplace safety, and proper housekeeping practicesQualificationsMinimum 10 years of maintenance/electrical experience in a manufacturing environmentPLC programming and troubleshooting experience requiredStrong knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, and electrical systemsAbility to read blueprints, schematics, and ladder diagramsExperience with welding, gearboxes, three-phase motors, chillers, cooling towers, and pump skidsKnowledge of electrical codes and safety standardsHigh School Diploma/GED required; Technical, Electrical, or Diesel Mechanic certifications are a plusPhysical RequirementsAbility to perform medium to heavy physical work in an industrial environmentComfortable working at heights and climbing laddersAbility to lift up to 75 pounds and safely operate maintenance tools and equipmentBenefitsWhile working through Express Employment Professionals, associates are eligible for Medical, Dental, and Vision insurance.Candidates hired directly by our client may be eligible for a comprehensive benefits package, including:Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance401(k)Paid Time Off and Paid HolidaysFlexible Spending Account (FSA)Company-Paid and Voluntary Life InsuranceEmployee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP)Bonus Incentive ProgramApply today with Express Employment Professionals.
