Job Title: Cyber Security Analyst (AI Security)

Location: Toronto, ON (Onsite)
Employment Type: Fullltime Permanent FTE

Role Summary: We are seeking an experienced Cyber Security Analyst to support one of Canada's largest banking institutions. The ideal candidate will have expertise in AI for Cybersecurity and Cybersecurity for AI , driving AI-powered cyber defense initiatives while ensuring secure AI adoption and compliance with banking and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement AI-driven cybersecurity solutions for threat detection, fraud prevention, and security operations.

• Define and enforce security controls for AI/GenAI platforms, including model security, data protection, and secure AI lifecycle management.

• Assess AI-related cybersecurity risks and implement mitigation strategies.

• Collaborate with security, architecture, risk, compliance, and technology teams to establish AI governance and cyber risk management practices.

• Develop secure cloud, data, and AI security architectures for regulated banking environments.

• Lead threat modeling, security assessments, and cybersecurity advisory initiatives.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience in Cybersecurity, Information Security, or Cyber Risk.

• Hands-on experience with AI Security, GenAI Security, SOC, Threat Detection, Cloud Security, or Cyber Architecture .

• Strong understanding of AI/ML security, LLM security, prompt injection, data leakage prevention, model governance, and AI risk management .

• Experience in Banking, Financial Services, or other highly regulated industries .

• Knowledge of NIST AI RMF, MITRE ATT&CK, ISO 27001, CIS Controls, and cloud security frameworks .

• Preferred certifications: CISSP, CISM, CCSP, GIAC , or equivalent.

• Experience with Microsoft Security Copilot, Azure AI Security, AWS Security Services, or Google Vertex AI Security is an advantage.
