Speech Language Pathologist (SLP - CCC) - Pediatrics - Part Time

Position A great Clinic is looking for an experienced Speech Language Pathologist / SLP to join their growing team for a part‑time permanent / direct hire assignment. Responsibilities Perform assessment of referred patients requiring treatment for speech, hearing, and/or language deficits. Teach patients how to make sounds, improve voices and increase oral or written language skills for better communication. Train individuals in strengthening muscles or using compensatory strategies to swallow without choking or inhaling food or liquid. Develop a plan of care within an interdisciplinary team for each patient. Provide skilled speech therapy services/interventions in accordance with physician orders. Assess patient needs, plan, evaluate, and modify care to meet goals of speech therapy interventions. Set realistic and achievable goals for patients to develop or recover reliable communication and swallowing skills so that they can fulfill educational, vocational, and social roles. Qualifications Graduated from an accredited school. Current state license as a Speech Language Pathologist / SLP or actively pursuing licensure. Current CPR certification.
