Shifts: Days, M-F, 5X8s, 7:00am-4:00pm with every other weekend/holiday on call
Seven Healthcare are seeking a dedicated RN specializing in Mother/baby care for a travel assignment in Concord, MA. This role involves working within a dynamic and supportive environment, focusing on providing exceptional care to both mothers and newborns.

Key responsibilities of the RN Mother/baby:
- Ensure unit is staffed appropriately at all times by assigning personnel based on skills
- Function as charge nurse when working clinically
- Lead the "huddle" at shift beginnings and review shift plans with staff
- Maintain department schedule and manage time cards
- Collaborate to develop and update care standards, procedures, and policies
- Oversee nursing schedules for OB, PCT, L&D scrub tech, and UC
- Evaluate staff performance and participate in hiring processes
- Promote professional development and participate in quality assurance initiatives
- Provide direct patient care and assist as needed
- Serve as OB Dept Dayshift Charge RN on weekends and holidays
- Perform RN duties for labor and delivery, postpartum, and special care nursery
Requirements of the RN Mother/baby:
- Current licensure to practice professional nursing in Massachusetts required
- BLS and ACLS healthcare provider certification required
- NRP certification required
- Inpatient OB certification strongly preferred
- Minimum of five years of experience in obstetrical nursing with demonstrated leadership abilities required
- Previous supervisory experience preferred
