Principal CardioVascular Sales Rep - Louisiana

Medtronic Inc

Medtronic seeks an experienced cardiovascular sales representative for the New Orleans territory to drive revenue in heart valve, cardiac ablation, and revascularization surgical therapies. The role requires developing strategic sales plans, managing customer relationships, and achieving quarterly goals across hospital and surgical settings.

Responsibilities

Conduct sales calls to promote cardiovascular surgery therapies to existing and new customers
Develop and execute quarterly strategic sales plans to achieve revenue and unit goals
Identify, qualify, and close new business opportunities with key accounts
Train customers on safe and effective use of Medtronic products
Maintain product expertise, monitor competitive activity, and communicate market feedback to internal teams

Requirements

High school diploma plus 10+ years sales experience, or associate's degree plus 8+ years, or bachelor's degree plus 6+ years
Medical device, medtech, healthcare, or life sciences sales experience
Senior Representative level achievement in another Medtronic field business
Experience selling to surgeons in cardiac operating rooms preferred
Valid driver's license and ability to travel 80% of territory time
Strong forecasting, account management, and strategic planning skills
