Mold Setter

Mold Setter - Latrobe, PA CHS is partnering with a manufacturer specializing in plastic injection molding to hire a Mold Setter. This role is responsible for safely removing and setting injection molds, supporting production operations, and assisting with plant startup and shutdown procedures. The ideal candidate will have prior injection molding experience, forklift experience, and the flexibility to train on daylight shift before transitioning to afternoons. • Shift/hours: Monday-Friday, 4p-12:30a
*Training on 1st shift, 8a-4:30p • Pay: $18-20/hour, depending on experience
Temp-to-Hire What You'll Do:
• Safely remove and set injection molds
• Communicate with the production scheduler, foreman, and adjacent mold setter regarding mold changes and special assignments
• Review setup documentation for mold-specific instructions
• Assist with troubleshooting press alarms and production issues
• Ensure smooth shift transitions by communicating updates and changes to the next mold setter What We're Looking For:
• 3-5 years of experience placing and removing injection molds
• Previous forklift experience and/or forklift license required
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Must be available for mandatory and voluntary overtime, including weekends
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
