Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant

Job Description Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant Position Purpose: Speech Language Pathologist Assistants work under the supervision of the certified speech-language pathologist to assist with the implementation of treatment plans, collaborate with staff members, and collect data on student performance. Minimum Qualifications: Associate or bachelor's degree in Communication Disorders or Speech-Language-Hearing Sciences (Preferred) Experience with children preferred Essential Responsibilities: Document student performance and report information to SLP Assist SLP with treatment implementation using the treatment plan developed by SLP Collaborate with teachers and related service staff on a regular ongoing basis Adhere to student IEPs as directed by SLP Support in creating and preparing materials as directed by SLP Log sessions into Relay/Compuclaim Maintain updated data on all goals and objectives addressed in sessions Job Details: 37.5 hours per week inclusive of a 30 minute unpaid lunch (35 hours per week is paid) The staff member may travel between 3 schools within the district Caseload: Students Pre-K to 12 Requirements: Must pass federal and local background checks Must have reliable transportation Must complete all pre-employment requirements before the start date. Term: Full-time Starting rate $25.00-$27.00 per hour, depending on experience Evaluation: The evaluation shall be performed by the Principal or their designee Selection: Process and Interviews convened by Superintendent/Director of Student Support Services/Principal.
