IT Support Technician

Requirements

• 1 or more years of experience providing frontline IT/help-desk support for end users in an office or educational environment.

• Proficiency in troubleshooting Windows and macOS computers, software applications, and peripherals.

• Experience with workstation setup, equipment deployment, and employee onboarding/offboarding processes.

• Experience with classroom, conference room, and audiovisual technology, including displays, projectors, and conferencing systems.

• Experience with enterprise device management platforms such as Microsoft Intune or Jamf, and Active Directory administration.

• Excellent customer-service and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with technical and nontechnical users.

Responsibilities

• Provide frontline technical support to end users in person, remotely, and through the service-request process.

• Diagnose and resolve issues involving computers, software, user accounts, peripherals, and network connectivity.

• Support classroom, conference room, and AV technology, including displays, microphones, and conferencing systems.

• Assist with device setup, deployment, software installation, and routine OS/software updates.

• Perform routine tasks within enterprise management platforms such as Intune, Jamf, or Active Directory under supervision.

• Support technology projects, equipment refreshes, inventory tracking, and documentation of issues and solutions.
