Verizon Wireless Retail Sales Associate Location: Chalmette, LA Compensation: Up to $25.00 per hour including base hourly rate, commissions, and incentives. Responsibilities Deliver an outstanding customer experience for each visitor to the store. Assist new and existing customers throughout the sales process. Educate customers on all Verizon products and services. Generate sufficient sales to meet and exceed company and location production standards. Handle all customer situations as trained, satisfying customers’ needs thoroughly. Support Store Manager and Assistant Manager with assigned tasks. Complete all required training as directed by Your Wireless and Verizon Wireless. Set an example of personal and professional conduct for staff. Develop professional skills to take on additional responsibilities that may lead to career advancement. Qualifications 1+ year of experience in a similar retail environment, preferably with Verizon Wireless or another wireless business. High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Proof of achievement in previous sales and customer service roles. Enthusiasm for retail, wireless technology, and products as well as customer service. Ability to travel to various locations within the assigned district as business requires. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Self‑motivated and goal‑oriented. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays with a flexible schedule. Must be 18 years or older and able to provide proof of work eligibility in the US.
