$10.00 to $13.00 per hour We offer an easily achievable commission structure that pays you for every transaction you process. Position Summary We are seeking entry‑level, full‑time sales associates in our pawn store locations nationwide. The Pawnbroker / Retail Sales Associate partners with the staff to ensure customer service on both lending and retail sides. They greet, engage, and interact with customers to process sales, loans, and other transactions. Responsibilities Greets and interacts with all customers to develop rapport and recommend appropriate financial solutions. Performs non‑management open/close procedures. Keeps the sales floor clean, stocked, and maintains merchandise display. Performs sales and loan transactions in accordance with policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements. Handles all cash and negotiable items per established policies and procedures. Answers incoming calls per company standards. Communicates legal aspects of pawn and buy transactions to customers. Communicates effectively with coworkers and managers, showing respect. Partners with all employees to create a positive customer experience. Completes assigned training successfully. Other related duties as assigned. Minimum Requirements & Qualifications Willing and able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds. Willing and able to perform duties for extended periods (standing, stooping, walking, etc.). Ability to work with firearms and to become firearms certified. May be asked to assist a customer outside the building. Minimum age: 18 years. High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent. Strong desire to serve customers and be team‑oriented. Ability to multi‑task in a fast‑paced environment. Proficient basic math calculations. Cash handling experience preferred. Willing to work in multiple locations as needed. Flexible retail schedule, including weekends and holidays. Computer literate and able to operate POS systems and common office machines. Commission Plan Information The employee commission incentive plan is proprietary to FirstCash. Pawnbrokers can earn 2‑8% commission based on gross profit of their personal performance. Additional Information Earned Wage Access is a service provided by NetSpend; signup by the employee is required. FirstCash 401K program available to all employees 21 years of age or older. Maximum base pay rate is derived from applicant’s previous experience and skill set applicable to the specific position. Pay rates will not be below local minimum wage requirements.
