Description Northrop Grumman Space Systems (NGSP) seeks a Software Engineer supporting the Integrated National Systems (INS) Business Unit (BU) located in Aurora, CO. The role is on an Agile team supporting two programs with a singular baseline. Responsibilities include working from the office, executing two-week sprints for three-month increment deliveries. Basic Qualifications: Level 2: Bachelor’s degree in STEM related field with 2+ years of software development experience, or 4 additional years of experience in lieu of a degree. Level 3: Bachelor’s degree in STEM related field with 5+ years of software development experience, 3+ years with a Master's; 0 years with a PhD; or 4 additional years of experience in lieu of a degree. Must have active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility at time of application. Must have an established understanding of Java programming language to support design, implementation, testing, code reviews, etc. Must have a good understanding of Git to support releases, patching, pipelines, developer support, etc. Kubernetes/Helm expertise (Required for support of deployments, environment support, and IT&D integration, etc.) Must have a good understanding of databases (experience with Elastic, Mongo, MySQL). Experience working directly with Product Owners, Scrum Masters, Configuration Managements, Integration Test and Development teams. Preferred Qualifications: Solid writing skills and use of Wiki pages and Sharepoint sites for documentation. Primary Level Salary Range: $91,800.00 - $137,600.00. Secondary Level Salary Range: $114,000.00 - $171,000.00. The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate’s experience, education, skills and current market conditions. Employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and discretionary bonuses in addition to base pay.
