TEMPORARY Registered Counselor (12 week assignment)

TEMPORARY/FULLTIME(12 WEEKS)REGISTEREDCOUNSELOR OPPORTUNITY- CA Counselor willbe responsible foroffering support andassistanceto patients enrolled in Medication Assisted Treatment for opioid usedisorder. Utilizing evidence-based practices and a trauma-informed approach, the counselor will help patients develop individualized coping techniques and symptom management skills that enablethento experience improved quality of life. Through collaboration with doctors,nursesand a multidisciplinary team, the counselor will play a vital role in evaluating patient progress and developing an individualized plan of care. Responsibilities Provide individual and group counseling services; direct service at regularly scheduled intervals based on patientneed, bestpracticesand state regulations; coordinate all services throughout treatment. Conducts initial assessment and evaluation todetermineeligibility for services. Complete Bio-psychosocial assessment. Establish individualized treatmentplanwith each patient and review as clinicallyindicated. Respond, as needed, to patient grievances and complaints. Develop aftercare and discharge plans. Other related duties asdeterminedby supervisor. Qualifications Registered Counselor in the State of California. Previousexperience working with chemically dependent individualsa plus. Mustdemonstratea positive, non-judgmental, andacceptingattitude toward our patient population. Satisfactory drug screen and criminal background check. Salary Range Salary ranges from $25.13to $26.13an hour. The salary of the candidate(s) selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, experience, education,specialtyand training.
