In this role, you will work directly with AWS account teams and Digital Native customers nationwide by marshalling your deep technology selling experience, enthusiasm for database technology and results-oriented focus to help AWS customers build amazing products and services on AWS database services like Amazon Aurora, Amazon DynamoDB and Amazon DocumentDB. The ideal candidate will be a seasoned, enterprise technology sales representative with a passion for customer growth. The successful candidate will own a demonstrated track record of selling success, technical acumen as well as a team-player mentality. The successful candidate will have experience driving executive, C-level customer engagement, as well as a technical understanding that enables them to easily interact with developers and technical architects. He/she should also have a demonstrated ability to think strategically about business, product, and technical opportunities, with the ability to build and convey compelling value propositions and work cross-organizationally to build consensus. Basic Qualifications 7+ years of technology related sales, business development or equivalent experience Experience using data analysis to drive business decisions 5+ years of direct field experience selling software or cloud solutions experience Preferred Qualifications Experience working with Data & AI related technologies, including, but not limited to, AI/ML, GenAI, Analytics, Database, and/or Storage Experience selling to a variety of customer types including Enterprise, ISV, SMB, and Startups. Knowledge of the competitive landscape in database technologies. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments, restricted stock units (RSUs), and sales incentives. Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
