Cardiology Clinic LPN/CMA Opportunity

Minden Medical Center is seeking a well-organized, energetic LPN/CMA for our Cardiology Clinic who can thrive in a fast-paced setting while supporting safe, high-quality patient care. In this role, youll partner with providers and teammates to deliver efficient clinic flow, accurate documentation, and compassionate service.

Key responsibilities include patient intake and basic clinical services, assisting with ordered treatments and procedures, administering medications per protocol, preparing injections and performing phlebotomy/lab tests as requested, supporting medication refills and charge capture in the EMR, managing clinical messages with timely escalation, and helping maintain supplies, privacy, and a clean, safe environment.

Required qualifications/skills:

• Current Louisiana LPN license required
• Five years experience in a physicians office preferred
• Comfort with common clinic equipment and systems (e.g., spirometer, glucometer, Athena Software)

A typical shift starts by preparing exam rooms and reviewing the days schedule so patients can be roomed smoothly as space opens up. Between visits, you keep documentation current, monitor the clinical inbox for anything urgent, and coordinate quick follow-up so questions dont linger. Youll balance hands-on patient interactions with behind-the-scenes accuracydouble-checking results before days end, keeping supplies organized for the next clinic session, and ensuring the workspace stays tidy and patient information protected. As the clinic pace changes, youll pivot to support other providers as needed, staying calm and steady when unexpected issues arise.

Hours are MondayFriday, 85, onsite in the Cardiology Clinic.
