Job Summary

We're looking for a creative, organized Social Media Intern to work a minimum of 16 hours per week supporting social media and content creation across the TransTech Group family of companies. You'll work directly with our marketing team to create graphics, videos, and written content, while helping develop new concepts that bring our marketing strategy to life.

This role is ideal for someone with a strong creative eye who can move quickly, manage multiple projects, and turn ideas into polished content efficiently.

Tasks & Responsibilities

• Social media content creation: Design graphics, carousels, and other visual content for LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, and other social channels.
• Video content: Create and edit short-form videos, reels, and other video content using existing footage and new creative concepts.
• Copywriting: Write clear, engaging captions and supporting copy that reflect the voice and audience of each TransTech Group company.
• Content planning: Help execute our social media calendar and keep content organized, on schedule, and moving through the review process.
• Creative development: Brainstorm new post concepts, campaigns, video ideas, and ways to turn company projects and stories into engaging social content.
• AI-assisted content creation: Use AI tools such as Claude to support brainstorming, research, copy development, and creative workflows.

Qualifications & Skills

• Canva & Adobe Creative Cloud: Experience creating content in Canva and working knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud programs for graphic design and video editing.
• Creative eye: A strong sense of visual design and the ability to create clean, engaging content that aligns with established brand standards.
• Strong writer: Comfortable writing and editing short-form marketing copy with strong grammar and attention to detail.
• AI proficiency: Comfortable using AI tools such as Claude and interested in finding ways to use AI to work more efficiently and creatively.
• Highly organized: Able to manage multiple projects, deadlines, files, and rounds of feedback without losing track of details.
• Fast & adaptable: Able to produce quality work quickly, respond to feedback, and shift priorities when needed.
• Self-starter: Comfortable taking ownership of assignments, asking questions when needed, and moving projects forward.

Preferred (But Not Required)

• Experience managing or contributing to a company, organization, or personal social media account.
• Familiarity with LinkedIn, Instagram, and Facebook content best practices.
• Photography or videography experience.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud
• A portfolio or examples of previous graphic design, video, or social media work.
• Interest in industrial, energy, manufacturing, or infrastructure markets.
