Join us and help run what runs the world.This position reports to: Production SupervisorThe work model for the role is: Onsite, Jonesboro, ArkansasThis position works 10 hour shifts Monday - Thursday, with OT as needed to meet customer demand.Your role and responsibilities:Able to adapt to changing priorities (different machine, team, product) or volumeAble to meet and run standardsShovels loose materials such as sand, gravel, metals, plastics, or chemicals, into machine hoppers into vehicles and containers such as wheelbarrows, scrap truck, or barrelsReads work order or follows oral instructions to ascertain materials or containers to be movedOther duties as assignedQualifications for the role:HS diploma or equivalent and 1-3 months related experience / training or combinationAble to read and comprehend safety rules, operating/maintenance instruction, and procedure manualsAble to present information to individuals/groups/clients by reports or correspondenceAble to add, subtract, multiply, divide whole numbers, use fractions, decimals, compute rate, ratio, and percent into bar graphsNote: Candidates must have a work authorization that permits them to work for ABB in the U.S. (Include on postings for roles that will not offer sponsorship).Why ABB?ABB Installation Products Division (formerly Thomas&Betts), helps manage the connection, protection and distribution of electrical power from source to socket.
