Local Contract School Psychologist (Certified) - $52-60 per hour

Cross Country Education is seeking a School Psychologist (Certified) for a local contract position in Tempe, Arizona. Position Overview Specialty: School Psychologist (Certified) Discipline: School Services Start Date: 07/16/2026 Duration: 43 weeks Hours per Week: 37.5 Shift Length: 8 hours Employment Type: Local Contract Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational, behavioral, and social‑emotional assessments to support students’ academic and developmental needs. Interpret evaluation results, prepare detailed reports, and provide recommendations to guide individualized educational planning. Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams by participating in IEP meetings, providing consultation, and supporting student interventions. Conduct functional behavior assessments (FBAs), develop behavior intervention plans (BIPs), and deliver staff training and parent education to promote positive student outcomes. Qualifications Master’s degree in School Psychology or related field Doctoral degree preferred Valid Arizona School Psychologist Certification/Licensure Valid IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card Experience conducting psychological assessments, counseling, and consultation in school settings Knowledge of special education regulations, behavioral intervention practices, and student support frameworks Benefits Competitive Pay: $51.60 - $60.20 per hour based on experience and qualifications, with weekly pay and opportunities for bonuses and incentives.
