Cardiac Cath Lab - Clinical Nurse

Role Overview: Provides direct patient care, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation within nursing standards. Focuses on promoting patient and family-centered care, educating on illness management, and ensuring safety and quality compliance. Assists physicians with diagnostic and interventional procedures in a Cardiac Catheterization Lab, including patient assessment, sedation, pharmacologic support, and post-procedure stabilization. Collaborates with the healthcare team to develop and communicate individualized care plans, considering patient preferences and cultural needs. Qualifications & Skills: No prior experience necessary; 2+ years preferred for advanced roles Strong critical nursing skills, emotional intelligence, and ability to work in a safety-sensitive environment Preferred experience in ED, ICU, or Cardiac settings Key Responsibilities: Promote safety, quality, and regulatory compliance Educate patients and families on post-treatment care and medication management Develop and document individualized care plans in collaboration with the team and patients Assess physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, respecting patient values and cultural considerations Additional Information: This role involves a quick call response time, typically within 30 minutes, and requires a focus on safety and professional development.
