Registered Nurse - Labor and Delivery

Location: Sioux City, IA

Contract Duration: 13 weeks

Compensation: $2277 - $2744 | Shift: 3x12 Nights

As an essential part of our multidisciplinary team, you will apply your clinical expertise to provide care in a vibrant Labor and Delivery environment. Your responsibilities will encompass:

• Delivering exceptional nursing care to mothers in labor and their newborns
• Working collaboratively with healthcare professionals to achieve the best patient outcomes
• Occasionally assisting in Post-Partum units, up to 1-2 shifts per week
• Documenting patient information using the EPIC EMR system

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar setting
• Current Iowa RN license
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications from AHA or ARC
• Fetal monitoring certification from the Association of Women’s Health, Obstetric and Neonatal Nurses (AWHONN)
• Certification from the Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP)
• Experience in a high-volume delivery center with high-risk and high-acuity cases (deliveries/month)
• Willingness to float to Post-Partum as needed
