Recruitment Incentive (Sign-on Bonus): Approved.

Compensation: Ranges from $300,000 to $336,000.

Contract Details: No Physician Employment Contract is required, and there are no significant restrictions on moonlighting opportunities.

Contract Buy-Out Program: This role may qualify for the Physician/Provider Contract Buy-Out Program (CBOP), which allows the organization to buy out service contracts (including locum agreements, loan repayments, sign-on bonuses, and contracts from physician-owned practices) in exchange for employment at designated rural or highly rural facilities for a minimum service commitment of 4 years.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct evaluations, diagnoses, treatments, and consultations for adult patients experiencing mental, behavioral, addictive, or emotional disorders, such as psychoses, depression, anxiety disorders, substance abuse issues, developmental disabilities, sexual dysfunctions, adjustment disorders, or any other conditions listed in the DSM-5.

• Order diagnostic tests and laboratory work, prescribe medications, gather patient histories, perform physical examinations, and provide care in inpatient settings, adhering to unit policies.

• Assess, stabilize, and determine the appropriate course of action for patients with urgent medical conditions, in line with medical staff policies regarding emergency and consultative services.

• Formulate and execute treatment plans while informing patients about risks, benefits, alternative treatments, and addressing any inquiries they may have.

• Collaborate with professionals from other disciplines.

• Manage hospital admissions and discharges.

• Oversee evaluation, prescription, and medication management.

• Provide psychotherapy, including individual, group, marital, and family therapy.

• Engage in crisis intervention and refer patients to suitable treatment settings.

• Utilize telepsychiatry services.

Work Schedule: Full-time; Monday to Friday from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM.
Telework Options: Available on an ad-hoc basis.
