Critical Care Paramedic (48-Hour)

Must possess a current Missouri EMT-P License Must possess a current, valid Driver’s License Ability to meet the physical demands and perform essential functions of the position, including regular attendance Ability to work five 48-hour shifts per month (48/96 schedule) Preferred Qualifications: CCP-C or FP-C , ACLS, PALS, PHTLS or ITLS, and AMLS. MFPD will pay for CCP-C or FP-C and other certifications Two or more years Paramedic experience Wages: $71,361 without CCP Certification; $101,847 after 4 years of service $78,361 with CCP-C or FP-C Certification; $108,847 after 4 years of service 100% paid health insurance premiums for you and your family; maximum annual out-of-pocket expenses are $3,000 per participant or $6,000 for family 100% paid dental and vision insurance for you and 50% for family Wellness program and ability to earn $1,200 annually for your health savings account Pension plan with 8% employer contribution, which increases with tenure to 11% Additional 2% pension plan employer match with 2% deferred employee contribution 100% paid $100,000 life insurance 100% reimbursed long-term disability insurance 8 vacation days and 1 personal day per year, prorated in hire year Annual tuition reimbursement up to $5,000 per year 8 days sick leave per year, prorated in hire year
