What You'll Do
- Set up and monitor CT equipment for diagnostic procedures, ensuring patient safety and image quality
- Prepare, position, and transfer patients while applying proper immobilization techniques
- Inject contrast media intravenously as per radiologist protocols
- Capture and develop high-quality images; maintain accurate records and documentation
- Assist radiologists with specialized procedures and clinical support
- Maintain equipment calibration, safety standards, and departmental cleanliness
- Monitor patients for allergic reactions and respond accordingly, including CPR if needed
- Organize daily patient schedules in collaboration with team members
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and department assessments
What You Need
Required:
- Valid Radiologic Technologist license in Michigan or eligible for licensure
- BLS Certification
- Minimum 1 year of recent CT imaging experience
- Ability to follow safety protocols and manage contrast media injections
Preferred:
- Experience with advanced imaging techniques and Patient Care in a hospital setting
