We're growing our team of Swim Associates for our North Brunswick, NJ location. The ideal candidate is passionate about helping kids achieve their full potential and eager to grow their professional skills. We provide training in a welcoming and supportive environment to ensure you're empowered to give our students the best swim experience, as well as reach *your* full potential--while having fun in the process!Responsibilities:Participate in paid swim instructor trainingProvide instruction to students following approved training methodology and lesson plansCreate a fun environment for students that's focused on learningAdhere to all safety guidelines and emergency proceduresEvaluate and report student progress using approved criteriaCommunicate professionally and effectively to provide a high level of service during all customer interactionsAssist with front desk responsibilities as well as maintain a clean facilityAttend ongoing trainings as scheduledRepresent Big Blue Swim School with a high level of professionalism and conduct in the workplaceOther duties as assignedRequirements:High energyEnjoys teaching kidsAbility to lift up to 30 lbs. and be on your feet for long periods of timeAvailable to work in the water for at least 15 hours per weekMust be willing to work weeknights and at least one weekend dayPreferred Qualifications:Lifeguard/CPR certificationWe offer Team Members:Competitive Pay: Our new employees earn $16 - $19/hour depending on experienceConsistent Schedules: We offer both part-time and full-time opportunities with consistent schedules.Great Benefits: Full-time team members are eligible for comprehensive health insurance.Career Development: We support your professional growth by providing opportunities to develop your customer communication, training, and management skills.We look forward to hearing from you!At Big Blue Swim School, we embrace our differences.
