Occupational Therapist I - Acute and Inpatient Rehab

Role Provides occupational therapy evaluations, develops and implements treatment plans, and delivers direct patient care to enhance independence across life domains. Responsibilities Performs comprehensive patient assessments, interprets findings, and creates individualized care plans with measurable goals. Implements therapy interventions, supervises assistants and technicians, and monitors patient progress to adjust treatment as needed. Communicates effectively with patients, caregivers, and healthcare teams, and documents all activities accurately. May serve as a clinical instructor or mentor for interns and less experienced staff. Ensures adherence to safety protocols, organizational policies, and quality standards. Promotes professional development through continuing education and supports departmental goals to improve patient outcomes. Qualifications & Skills Bachelor's or graduate degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program. Current license to practice in the relevant jurisdiction and BLS certification. Physical ability to perform lifting, standing, walking, and fine motor tasks; strong communication skills; ability to interpret clinical data; and observation skills for monitoring instruments and physical characteristics. #J-18808-Ljbffr Proforma Health
