Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to critically ill adults in the ICU, including assessment, monitoring, and reassessment of patient status
• Manage advanced nursing tasks such as hemodynamic monitoring, ventilator settings, drips, lines, tubes, and complex therapies
• Administer prescribed medications and therapies, document responses, and adjust care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team
• Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, pharmacists, and other clinicians to coordinate care and ensure patient safety
• Respond promptly to emergencies, participate in code/team encounters, and participate in rapid response activations when needed
• Document comprehensive patient care reports in the electronic medical record and contribute to discharge planning and family education

Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse license in Georgia (or eligible for GA licensure)
• Minimum 2 years of recent ICU RN experience
• AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required
• NIHSS certification required
• Ability to perform 12-hour day shifts in an ICU environment and work within a hospital setting
