New Production and Marketing Counsel

Overview Apple’s Original Content Legal team is looking for an exceptional attorney to provide studio relations strategy, production, and some marketing legal services. In this role, you will serve as legal counsel for a range of Apple’s original content offerings, including fitness, wellness, and emerging technologies. You’ll draft, negotiate, and review a variety of production and service agreements, help to establish legal policies, and advise on marketing aspects. Responsibilities Provide studio relations strategy, production, and marketing legal services for Apple’s original content offerings. Draft, negotiate, and review production and service agreements. Establish legal policies and advise on marketing aspects. Collaborate with content, operations, product design, social media, creative, marketing, legal, business affairs, finance, production, and retail teams to oversee the legal aspects of production, ecosystem activation, and marketing for original video content worldwide. Work on content strategy and policy development with legal teams that support production holistically. Issue spot and advise on legal implications while understanding and furthering business objectives. Develop legal solutions to new and shifting territorial regulations. Qualifications 5 or more years of relevant experience. Experience at a law firm, television network, streaming service, fitness content platform/provider, and/or major/mini-major film studio/media company in production, marketing, social media strategy and policy building, live events, and contract drafting and negotiation. Experience with marketing and consumer protection laws, intellectual property legal issues, talent rights and restrictions, social media regulations and guidelines, and brand partnerships, sponsorships, or endorsements. Familiarity with TV/film/media production deal structures. JD or equivalent and admission to at least one US state bar. Demonstrated adaptability to advise a variety of client teams driven by diverse business objectives. Comfort handling multiple projects with competing timelines. Superior verbal and written communication and analytical skills, coupled with the ability to resolve complex issues in creative and effective ways. Knowledge or curiosity to sharpen skills in AI and integration of technology with content. Ability to work collaboratively on cross‑functional teams across varying types of content.
