A confidential California-based real estate transactional practice is seeking a senior-level attorney to support a busy commercial real estate platform. THE ROLE

- Draft, review, and negotiate commercial lease agreements (including complex business terms)

- Support acquisitions and dispositions, including diligence, closing deliverables, and issue-spotting

- Advise on real estate development matters and related project documentation

- Coordinate and manage deal timelines across counterparties and internal stakeholders

- Communicate directly with clients and provide practical, business-oriented guidance

LOCATION, SCHEDULE AND COMPENSATION

Location:

Greater Los Angeles, California

Schedule:

Hybrid, in office 2 days per week

Compensation:

Base salary range: $100,000 to $500,000

REQUIREMENTS

- 7 to 10 years of transactional real estate experience

- Substantial experience handling complex commercial real estate transactions

- Active California bar admission in good standing

- Juris Doctor from an accredited law school

- Strong drafting, negotiation, and client service skills

PREFERRED BACKGROUND

- Training and experience from a large California law firm or similarly sophisticated transactional practice

- Interest in a long-term practice setting that combines high-level work with a hybrid schedule

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

- Discretionary bonus tied to firm and individual performance

- Billable hour expectations: approximately 1,750 to 1,850 hours, with lower expectations for more senior attorneys (approximately 1,500 to 1,700)
