As a Screener in a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will support access screening, badge verification, and visitor flow while delivering exceptional customer service and clear communication. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $17.46 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTime Fri 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM Sat 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM Sun 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM What You’ll Do: Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access-screening protocols, and emergency response activities as appropriate. Screen individuals, packages, deliveries, and/or materials entering the technology-focused location in accordance with established procedures and applicable site requirements. Operate screening equipment and perform visual inspections to help identify prohibited or unauthorized items, escalating concerns according to site-specific protocols. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, communicating observations to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership. Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned screening areas, entry points, and surrounding business perimeter, documenting observations and completing required reports. Minimum Requirements: A guard card or license is preferred. Loss prevention experience is preferred. Access control and badge experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
