- Answering the telephone when the front desk is busy scheduling
- Running end of the month reports on A/R
- Following up on the end of month report with statements and insurance
- Filing Insurance Prior authorizations
- Submitting Medicare and Hawk-I forms and records
- Following up on Medicare and Hawk-I submissions
- Filing Insurance forms monthly or quarterly
- Printing and Entering Electronic Payments by Insurance, Medicare, Hawk-I
- Completing contracts
- Consultations to cover contract and schedule appointments to start treatment if they want to get started
- Cover front desk duties when receptionist is gone
- Ordering supplies needed for her office
- Other duties as mutually agreed upon
- Entering payments made by responsible parties and 3rd parties
- Monitoring A/R
