Part Time Administrative Assistant

Part-Time Church Administrative Assistant
Location: Edmond, OK Pay: $19.00
Schedule: Monday Thursday, 8:30 AM 2:00 PM
Our church is seeking a friendly, organized, and dependable Administrative Assistant to support daily office operations and ministry communications. This part-time position is ideal for someone who enjoys serving others, multitasking, and working in a welcoming church environment.
Responsibilities
- Answer and direct incoming phone calls
- Greet visitors and provide a warm, welcoming experience
- Update and create church announcements
- Prepare weekly service bulletins and other church communications
- Create PowerPoint slides for worship services and special events
- Open, sort, and distribute incoming mail
- Perform light bookkeeping and accounting tasks using QuickBooks
- Maintain office records and files
- Provide administrative support to church staff and ministry leaders
- Assist with special projects and other office duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Experience with QuickBooks
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
- Friendly, professional, and service-oriented attitude
- Ability to work independently while supporting a team environment
- Attention to detail and commitment to confidentiality
The ideal candidate is dependable, positive, organized, and enjoys interacting with people. They should be comfortable balancing multiple responsibilities while helping support the mission and ministries of the church.
