Lead Estimator - Grand Island, NE We are looking to add an experienced Estimator with strong construction background. This role focuses on metal buildings, grain bins, pole barns, and general construction projects and requires someone who can take ownership of the estimating process. Responsibilities: Lead the estimating process from initial review through final bid Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates based on plans and specifications Review blueprints to determine scope, materials, labor, and timelines Solicit, review, and level subcontractor and supplier bids Perform takeoffs and ensure all project costs are accounted for Work directly with ownership and project managers on bid strategy Assist in value engineering and cost‑saving opportunities Support smooth handoff to the project team after award Qualifications: 5+ years of estimating experience (7-10+ preferred) Strong background in metal buildings, ag construction, or similar projects Ability to read and interpret complex plans and specifications Experience with estimating software (PlanSwift, Bluebeam, or similar) Strong Excel skills Ability to manage multiple bids and deadlines independently Strong communication and decision‑making skills Compensation & Benefits: Competitive salary based on experience Health insurance available Retirement plan options Long‑term opportunity with a stable and growing company #J-18808-Ljbffr
